Only a candle was lit...

She remembered that day clearly.   They were camping in a creepy mansion, one that was so extravagant, yet haunting at the same time.   The students were on a trip.

She only an assistant, supervising the students so they wouldn't do anything. That wasn't supposed to happen...

Nothing was supposed to happen.

"Kakashi!!!"

An eighteen-year-old Sakura called out. I don't want to be alone in that place! It's so dark!

"Right here, Sakura!" Her teacher lazily waved over at a tree, reading his perverted book with a flashlight.

"Come on Kakashi!   Come with me to that haunted building!" Sakura whined.

Kakashi smiled through his mask and petted her head affectionately.

A vein throbbed. HE IS GOING WITH ME WHETHER HE LIKES IT OR NOT!! Then she put on her sweetest smile and faced him. "Please, Kakashi-kun. For me?" She batted her eyelashes.

Kakashi sighed and put away his book. "Fine."

"Oooh!!! Kakashi-sensei and Sakura are together!!" Hinata, Ino, and Tenten giggled.

"OH SHUT UP GUYS!!" Sakura yelled, blushing deeply.

As they approached the building, Sakura trembled.   Kakashi looked at her, and held her hand in reassurance. After all, they were boyfriend and girlfriend.

Inside, the student gathered at the lobby, on top of a circle floor design that was criscrossed.

"Ok! Everyone in?" Kurenai asked. "Okay, now before we unpack dinner, let's play a little game of hide-and-seek! It's just a way to explore this castle more differently. We locked some of the empty rooms so it would be easier for us teachers to find you."

"THE YOUTHFUL RULES ARE SIMPLE!!" Gai gave a nice guy pose. "All you youthful people devide into two youthful groups! One is to seek, and the other to hide! Let's get going our youthful students!"

"This is stupid." A student with long brown hair and no pupils named Hyuuga Neji remarked.

"Troublesome..." A student with a pineapple like hairstyle (okay, just kidding! XD) named Nara Shikamaru complained.

"Okay! Group B, hide! You have one minute."

Sakura rushed off.

Tap.

Tap.

Tap.

"Ugh!! It's locked!" Sakura panicked.

"The minute's up! Group A, go!" Sakura whirled around at the voice. Oh damn! She cursed inwardly.

"Hey, Sakura." A voice whispered.

"!" Sakura looked behind her, Kakashi's hand gesturing to come towards him.

"Kakashi?"

"Yeah, Sakura. Hurry up!" Sakura speedily and quietly ran into his arms. She blushed at the contact, his arms wrapping themselves around her waist.

"Over there, quick!"

"I'll check the second room, Sasuke-teme." Footsteps came near.

"That's Naruto's voice..." Sakura muttered under her breath.

But when Sakura turned around, she saw a little girl.

FLASH! The lightning went.

And the little girl had a mask-like face, she had a big smile, blank eyes that were narrowed, and was dressed in a simple plain white gown.

Sakura looked at her in horror, and let out blood curdling screams. "WAA!! AAAAAAAA--!!!!"

But what creeped her out the most...

was that she heard the same scream somewhere else.

The door slammed, revealing Naruto and Sasuke. "Gotcha! Hey there Kakashi-sensei, Sakura-chan!"

"What did you see that made you scream, Sakura?" Kakashi asked calmly.

"You didn't see?!?!?! There was a little girl! Didn't you see?! Didn't you..." She trailed off as she looked back. "...hear?"

"I didn't see or hear anything. I think you're just paranoid, Sakura. Come on, we better head back to the main room."

Her eyes widened. Go...ne... But...there was...a girl.

But as they returned to the main room. Sakura's eyes widened in shock and fright. In front of her, she saw the same girl...

and she had friends.

The bodies of her classmates just went still, as if they were dead. They were skipping around them. She could hear their sickening giggling.

Tee-hee.

Tee-hee.

Tee-hee!

"Come on, Sakura! Let's join them." Kakashi told her.

"W..What?"

And the same girl that she saw earlier, grabbed Kakashi's wrist. Kakashi? The little girl turned around, and Sakura blacked out.

Then she didn't remember what happened anymore.

and when the candle went out...

she turned into one of them.
